| Additional Information: | Text mainly in Jawi with some in Arabic, some words in rubric, hand writing generally in very basic book hand style, difficult to read, illustrations on a few pages. Watermark lion in a crown with countermark Van Gelder was a Dutch paper. Based on a note on page 5r, the manuscript was written on Sanat 1211 AH/1786 AD. A note on the temporary cover written by the supplier, “Shafi al-Jahalbi, from Ulakan, Sumatra Barat”. Therefore the text was copied sometime in the 19th century. The title given is questionable but the ms. originated from West Sumatra”. |
